Simple, Clear Pricing

No Surprise Bills

At my office, I believe you should know exactly what your care costs. I do not bill insurance for your visits. This keeps things simple and lets me focus entirely on your health.

Membership Fees:

  • One-time Startup Fee: $150

    • This fee covers your "onboarding." This is when I spend time getting to know your health history. We will look at your past goals and plan for your future care.

  • Monthly membership: $150

    • This covers all your visits with me. There are no "co-pays" or extra costs for my time. You can see me as often as needed to keep you healthy.

What about Insurance?

You can still use your health insurance for things outside of my office. This includes:

  • Blood tests and laboratory work.

  • Medical imaging (like X-rays or MRIs).

  • Visits to specialists (doctors who focus on one part of the body).

  • Your medicine at the pharmacy.

Understanding Extra Costs

Most of your care is covered by your monthly fee. However, some services from outside offices have their own costs. I will always tell you these costs ahead of time.

  • Blood Tests & Lab Work: You can use your insurance for these tests. If you do not have insurance (or if it costs too much), you can use my special "wholesale" prices. These are often much lower. You will know the exact price before any blood is drawn.

  • Special Samples: If we do a test like a Pap smear or a skin biopsy, a separate lab has to study the sample. They will send a separate bill for their work.

  • Birth Control Devices: For things like an IUD or Nexplanon, we will work with your pharmacy. They will usually bill your insurance for the device and ship it to my office for me to place.

  • HSA & FSA: You can often use these health accounts to pay for your membership. I suggest asking your tax expert to be sure.

Wholesale Lab Pricing Guide

I work hard to find the best prices for my patients. For people without insurance or with high costs, I offer "wholesale" pricing on blood tests. This means you pay the same low price that I pay the lab. We will always talk about these costs before any tests are done.

How is DPC billing different?

In most doctors' offices, you don’t know the cost of your visit until a bill arrives in the mail weeks later. This is because insurance companies and doctors have to negotiate behind the scenes.

In my office, we make it simple:

  • No Waiting: You don't have to wait for a bill to know what you owe.

  • No Guessing: Your monthly fee covers your visits. If you need a blood test, I can tell you the exact price before you go to the lab.

  • More Time: Because I don’t have to spend hours on insurance paperwork, I can spend that time with you.

Frequently Asked Questions About Labs

  • Yes. If you have insurance, I can send your order to a local lab like Quest or LabCorp. They will bill your insurance just like they always have.

  • No. You can go to any lab you prefer. I will give you a paper order or send it through my computer. You just choose the place that is easiest for you.

  • As soon as I see your results, I will send them to you through our secure app. I will also explain what the results mean in plain English. If we need to change your health plan based on the results, we will talk about it together.
